Two matches of the 1st Division Volleyball League were decided on the opening day on Saturday at the Volleyball Stadium in the city.
On the day’s matches, East and Boys beat East and Club while Swabalombi Society defeated Bhai Bhai Sangha, both by 3-1 set.
Earlier, State Minister for Youth and Sports Biren Sikder formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
