Twelve players shared top slot in the Azimuddin Bhuiyan 33rd National Sub-Junior (Under-16) Chess Championship securing full two points after the 2nd round matches at Chess Federation hall-room on Tuesday.
The leaders are: FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman, Akib Jawad, Oyon Nur Newaz, Abdullah Al Sharhan Saikat, Azmain Inqiad Adeeb, Rabbi Mridha, Raphael Kabir, Surat Alam, Nova Tasha, Swarnavo Choudhury, Tahsin Mahmud and Fardina Hossain Arena.
In the day’s 2nd round matches, Fahad beat Mahmud, Akib beat Sawri, Oyon beat Rumaisa, Saikat beat Sajed, Tasha beat Ahnaf, Swarnavo beat Asif, Adeeb beat Tahsin Anjum, Arena beat Nushrat, Rabbi beat Kanchan, Tahsin Mahmud beat Arnaob while Raphael beat Sraboni.
The 3rd round matches will be held on Wednesday from 3:30 pm at the same venue.
