To attach himself for the welfare of the people, National Film Award winner singer and music director SI Tutul became brand ambassador of Sonar Bangla Foundation, an US based charity organisation. He joined the work on Tuesday at head office of the organisation in the capital’s Shyamoli area. While talking in this regard Tutul said, “There are 16 dialysis centres under the banner of this charity foundation. The organisation is building up a nursing institute outside Dhaka where orphans get the opportunity to study in nursing and later they will get the scope to work abroad as nurse. I will work for the collection of funds on behalf of the foundation.”
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Mujib Birth Centenary, Tutul lent his voice for a song titled Pita. He has been also working as one of the leading judges of music reality show Banglar Gayen for a TV channel now. During lockdown, he has been working as judge in the reality show. In 2004, Tutul came into limelight to render a play-back song titled Keu prem kore of Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s film Bachelor. Dhrubotara is his band group.
