Shamima Tusty is a regular face in TV plays, serials and movies and also to perform as model in TV commercials. But she is maximum time seen to act in TV plays. To perform in TVC and to act in movie, she is always very much choosy. She recently performed as a model in her liking TVC.
On September 18, Tusty performed as a model in a TVC of a multinational company’s soybean oil under Ashin’s direction at Babor Road in the capital’s Mohammadpur area. She took part in its day-long shooting.
While talking about performing in that TVC Tusty told this correspondent, “I always prefer to perform in story based TVC. This TVC is like that where I performed in the central role. Though Ashin is newcomer but I liked his direction. It was an organised unit. Overall the work became a nice one. I believe this TVC will create hype among the viewers like my previous numbers.”
Tusty also informed that the TVC will go on air within three to four days in different satellite channels. She was last seen as model in TVC of Kanka Fan. She first performed in TVC of Ispahani Mirzapur Tea. She also performed in other TVCs.
Belal Ahmed’s Nondito Noroke, Shahidul Islam Khokon’s Lal Sabuj, Golam Rabbani’s Swapnodanai are Tusty acted movies. Her acted movie Hason Raja directed by Ruhul Amin is waiting to release. Therefore, in Gazi Rakayet’s government-grant movie Gore Tusty will be seen in a guest role.
Besides acting in Nagorik TV’s serial Ami Tumi Se, she is also acting in two other serials on Banglavision now. As a director, Tusty also made two plays. She is also working as Law and Welfare Secretary in Actors’ Unity now. To co-operate people, Tusty has formed ‘Manush Foundation.’
