Visiting Turkish Coastguard Commandant Rear Admiral Hakan Ustem on Thursday paid a courtesy call on Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral M Farid Habib at Naval Headquarters here.
“During the meeting, they discussed on matters related to professional skills and training programmes,” an ISPR statement said.
The Turkish Coastguard Commandant, leading a three- member delegation, arrived Dhaka on January 19 on a five-day official visit.
Ustem earlier called on Director General of Bangladesh Coastguard, Regional Commander of Chittagong Naval Zone and Eastern Zonal Commander of Chittagong Coastguard and visited Bangladesh Naval Academy.
