Tug of war between Law Minister and Attorney General over formation of co-ordination cell regarding granting of bail in militancy related cases.
Law minister Anisul Huq on Sunday said, Attorney General office can take an initiative in this regard. Contrarily, Attorney General differed with the law minister.
Talking to the New Nation, Attorney General Mahbubey Alam said, “We have lack of skilled manpower. Those who are working here suffering from working-efficiency. It is better that the government should take the initiative.”
A few days ago, Attorney General proposed for forming a coordinated cell to deal with the militancy related cases.
