Palolik Group emerged champions in the men’s team event of the Shamsuzzaman Limited Table Tennis Federation Cup on Friday. All the events of the table tennis meet were held at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium.
Dhaka Mariners Youngs Club, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Arunima and Palolik Group became champions of the men’s team event of their respective groups. After that the four group champions took part on the single league basis competition and Palolik Group finished champions.
In the men’s singles, Hridoy of Arunima beat Plabon of Narail district by 4-0 game while Jabed of Palolik Group defeated Asif of Biman Bangladesh Airlines by 4-0 game and Porag of Dhaka Mariners Youngs Club overpowered Tirtho of Bagerhat by 4-0 game and Tuhin of Palolik Group overwhelmed Himel of Dhaka by 4-0 game.
