US President Donald Trump’s top economic adviser, Larry Kudlow, has suffered what doctors say was a “very mild” heart attack.
He is expected to make a full recovery, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a statement.
President Trump first tweeted the news before his historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in Singapore. Mr Kudlow, 70, recently accompanied the president to a G7 summit in Canada that ended in disarray.
“Larry is currently in good condition at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and his doctors expect he will make a full and speedy recovery,” Ms Sanders said.
