Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau appreciated the effort of the Summit Group on LNG, a source of clean energy that will decarbonise power generation in Bangladesh, says a statement.
He was speaking with the Chairman of Summit Group Muhammed Aziz Khan at a reception accorded by the High Commissioner of Canada Nancy Lynn in Singapore recently.
Mr Trudeau also praised Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as a great leader of Bangladesh, developing countries and women.
Trudeau was in Singapore to attend the 33rd Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Summit.
