A Chittagong University student was killed in a road accident yesterday, took place at Feni’s Dagonbhuyan upazilla of the Chittagong to Noakhali highway. The deceased was identified as Imamul Hoque Rasel, an organizing secretary of CU unit Bangladesh Chhatra League and a Masters student of Forestry and Enviornmental Science Department.
Police sources and locals said, a sand laden truck hit the motorbike that Rasel was riding at the Dagonbhuyan area while Rasel was heading for his Senbag residence at around 9.00 am.
The locals rushed him to the Feni Sadar hospital but under deterioration of his condition he was later transferred to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH).
