Police seized a truck with 58 sacks of rice meant for distribution among the ultra-poor under the vulnerable group feeding (VGF) programme from Habigang-Lakhai road in Langla Bridge area in the district town on Thursday night.
A police team seized the truck along with the VGF rice around 11 pm and handed over those to Habiganj Sadar Police Station, said Mohammad Shahidur

The rice was being taken to the district town, he added.
However, police could not detain the driver of the truck.
