Eight years ago, promising presenter Troyee Islam started programme hosting passionately. Now hosting is her profession. But according to Troyee it is really difficult to identify her profession because sometimes she has to be engaged with hosting some other time has to work as RJ or taking classes to build up RJs. Today she has started to work as line producer of G Productions. Today is an exceptional day for her. But Troyee prefers hosting because it is her love.
While talking in this regard Troyee Islam said, “During childhood, I acted in plays. For last few years I have engaged myself with hosting so closely that I really feel comfortable programme hosting. I really enjoy it. In fact, if anybody requests me for hosting after waking up from sleep I will surely agree to do it.”
A the end of last year, Troyee, hailed from Khulna, has been hosting Deepto Probhati regularly. Singer Shawon Gaanwala is Troyee’s husband. Their only child Chithi will turn into 3 on April 5. Though Troyee started hosting on SA TV later she also hosted on RTV, Asian TV and ETV. When she was only 6 she acted in theatre group, Palakar. She worked with this group for 10 years at a time later. Later she established herself as an actress in Dhaka Padatik. Under this group, her performance in Masum Aziz-directed play Apod was highly appreciated by the audience. In TV plays, Troyee acted in Abul Hayat, Arun Chowdhury and Mabrur Rashid Bannah’s direction.
