England batsman Jonathan Trott has announced his retirement from international cricket.
Trott announced his decision Monday, a day after England lost the third test against the West Indies to leave the three-match series drawn 1-1. Trott was recalled for the tour of the West Indies for the first time since leaving England’s 2013-14 Ashes tour due to a situational anxiety condition, but he struggled to make an impact.
The 34-year-old Trott has played 52 tests for England since 2007, along with 68 one-day internationals and seven Twenty20 matches.
