On Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day, people of Gafargaon as well people from other parts gathered in the house of Shaheed Abdul Jabbar in Pachua on Thursday .
Political leaders paid tributes to Shaheed Abdul Jabbar at the Shaheed Minar located in the house of Abdul Jabbar. The same gathering happened every year and this year it was not exception
Flowers were placed on behalf of MP Fahmi Golandaz Babel at zero hours. Later, Upazila Chairman Asraf Uddin Badal, Pouro Mayor S.M. Ikbal Hussain Sumon, UNO Kaji Mahbub ur Rahman , Anukul Sarker OC of Gafargaon Thana , Shaninuzzaman OC of Pagla Thana , Gafargaon Press Club, Upazila Awami League , various organizations and students of different educational institutions paid tributes to the martyrs.
