Teachers, staff and students of Government Sheikh Hasina Adarsha College in Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj district paid profound tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his mausoleum in Tungipara, Gopalganj.
Teachers, staff and students of Government Sheikh Hasina Adarsha College, led by the president of the governing body and deputy commissioner Shahida Sultana paid rich tributes to the Father of the Nation by placing wreaths at his mazar in Tungipara on the twelfth instant , reports BSS.
They offered Fateha and took part in a Munajat seeking peace for the departed souls of August 15,1975 victims and the martyrs of Liberation War in 1971.
Acting Principal of Sheikh Hasina Adarsha College Dilip Bhabuk, Assistant Professors – Alauddin Hawlader, Mintu Roy, Ali Ashraf Khan, Shafiqul Islam, staff and students of the college were present.
On July 3, President M Abdul Hamid declared the college as a government college through a gazette notification, Acting Principal Dilip Bhabuk said.
