An indigenous teacher was allegedly gang-raped inside the tea garden of Vhatghati area under Kamalganj Upazila under Moulvibazar district on June 3 but police didn’t file case yet till writing of this report on Wednesday.
The35-year-old tribal woman was forcibly bundled into the tea garden by eight men took her when she back from her school (Dabalcherra Junior High School) with truck for returning to her Somsernagor tea garden residence around at 9:30pm, the victim’s husband (Chunu) told The New Nation on Wednesday.
He said, eight criminals forcibly raped her.
“I could identify them if I saw their photos,” the victim was quoted by her husband as saying.
