Tree plantation on JS premises to mark Mujib Year continues

Tree plantation as part of a nationwide program of planting one crore trees to realize the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman of a green Bangladesh is being held on Parliament House premises.
Expatriate Welfare Minister Imran Ahmed, State Minister for Labor and Employment Munnujan Sufian, Chairman of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Commerce Tofail Ahmed, Chairman of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Industries Amir Hossain Amu, members of the Parliament Md Abdus Shahid and Selim Altaf George planted trees on the JS premises, said a press release.
The Expatriate Welfare Minister said, “An opportunity like this comes only once in a hundred years. We are glad to have such a great opportunity to remember Bangabandhu through tree planting… The benefits of the one crore tree planting program will last a lifetime.”
