A tree plantation campaign marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was held at Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus.
Holding the slogan “Mujib Borshe Ongikar Kori, Sonar Bangla Sabuj Kori”, “Anthro BD”, a platform of social and cultural research and development in Bangladesh recently organized the programme.
President of Jahangirnagar University Journalists’ Association (JUJA) Mahbub Alam inaugurated the programme.
JU campus Ambassador of Anthro BD Tahjir Faiyaj Chowdhury, Executive Member of Anthro BD Belal Hossain Rahat, Nazir Ahmed, student of JU International Relations Department and Mamun of English department were present at the programme.
