A tree plantation program by planting pulm tree sapling organized by Bangladesh University of Engineering (BUET) at BUET playground on the occasion of the 75th birth anniversary of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on Tuesday.
The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Satya Prasad Majumdar, Vice-Chancellor of BUET while Prof. Dr. Abdul Jabbar Khan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of BUET was present as Special Guest.
Among others: Deans of the faculties, Heads of departments, Directors of different departments, Provosts and assistant provosts of different halls, Teachers, Officers and Staff were also present on the occasion.
Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman, Director, Directorate of Students’ Welfare of BUET presided over the event.
