A seven-day long district-level tree fair has begun in the municipality here on Wednesday.
Rangamati District Administration, Rangamati Forest Department and District Agriculture Office jointly organised the fair on the Rangamati Municipality Office premises.
State Minister for Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, MP, inaugurated the fair as chief guest. Member of Parliament Feroza Begum Chinu and Chairman of Chittagong Hill Tracts Development Board and Secretary of the Ministry of CHT Affairs Nobo Bikrom Kishore Tripura also attended the inaugural ceremony as special guests.
