A man was killed as a tree collapsed on him at Dhankunthi Kumarpara village of Tarash upazila on Saturday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Jahirul Islam, 36, son of Mohammas Wahed Ali, resident of the village.
Police said Jahirul was cutting a eucalyptus tree in the house of local Ishaq Ali at the village around 5pm.
