Indian Deputy High Commissioner Mr Biswajit De has said that anyone without medical visa can get treatment in any hospital in India. All passport passengers can treatment on any visa in Indian any Hospital. However, a medical visa will be required to perform a major operation.
On that day, the Indian Embassy in Dhaka has been opened for medical visas only on Friday. He said this during a meeting with district administration, customs, ports and business leaders at Jashore Hotel Jaber International on Saturday night.

Mr Sabuj Ali, general secretary of Jessore Motorsports Importers Association, said that due to the non-cooperation of the mayor of Bangaon at Petrapole in Indian side , a group of syndication block the the rucks about 15/20 days and take Tips TK. 2000 per truck. As a result, importers are suffering from severe economic loss.
In view of the various discussions, the Deputy High Commissioner assured him that he would try as much as possible to resolve the issue. He also requested the businessman to inform the Deputy Commissioner and the concerned officials in writing of all the problems. He said this would facilitate taking necessary measures to solve the problem.
