Some146 passengers of five inter-city trains departed from Chattogram have been fined for travelling without legal tickets.
A total of 85 thousand taka was realized from these passenger including penalty of Tk.40,575 .
Divisional commercial officer of Railway , East Zone Md Ansar Ali conducted the drives against ticketless passengers from morning to midnight yesterday .
The drives conducted in 5 intercity trains left from Chattogram Station. DCO Ansar Ali told that travel without tickets become a habits of a section of people, so this drive is continued , no one will travel without tickets in future.
