Bangladesh Road Transport Sramik Federation (BRTWF) called for dawn to dusk transport strike in greater Chittagong from tomorrow(Tuesday) .
President of the regional committee of BRTWF Md. Musa disclosed it at a press conference held at Chittagong Press Club on Saturday . BRTWF called the strike demanding 9;points demand including construction terminal for bus truck, prime mover & trailor, parking spot for auto-rickshaws and tempos, registration of CNG autrorichswas, stopping of harassment of BRTA, Joint Director of Labour and Police and arrangement of appointment letter to transport workers etc. President of the organization readout the written statement before the journos in the press meet. The press meet was told that BRTWF placed this demands before the authority since long ;but the govt is not complying to their demands as yet and hence we compelled to enforce the strike. President of Chittagong Divisional Committee Haji Ruhul Amin, executive President of regional committee of the federation Rabiul Mowla, general secretary Oli Ahmed among others were present in it.
