A fire broke out at a storeroom of a transport company office at Lon Office Para in Jessore district town early Saturday.
Fire service sources said the fire erupted at a storeroom of ‘Jamuna
Transport Company Ltd’ at about 1:00 am and spread soon.
On information, three firefighting units from Jessore, Jhikargachha and Manirampur rushed to the spot and doused the flame after seven hours of frantic efforts.
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
