Transcript software launched at DU

The Dhaka university (DU) authorities have introduced ‘transcript software’ for its students to facilitate transcript delivery services more easily.
A website has also been introduced to receive and solve all kinds of complaints and appeals related to university’s services, said a press release.
DU Vice Chancellor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the software and the website recently at a program at university’s Abdul Matin Chowdhury Virtual classroom, reports BSS.
Convener of DU Innovation team Dr Ishtiak M Sayed, register Probir Kumar Sarker and ICT cell director Dr Md Asif Hossen Khan, among others, were present on the occasion.
Md Akhtaruzzaman said both the software and the website are important, which will enhance the overall digitalization and automation process of the university.
It would bring more dynamism in the educational and administrative work of the university as well as help ensure transparency and accountability, he hoped.
From now on, the graduates of the university will be able to receive online transcript service by logging on the site eco.du.ac.bd.
Under the supervision of DU innovation team, the office of the examinations controller and the central admissions office have jointly implemented the project of bringing the transcript section under automation.
