An eleven-day long training workshop on “Research Paradigms and Advanced Methodology in Arts and Social Sciences” concluded on Thursday at Dhaka University (DU). The Centre for Advanced Research in Arts and Social Sciences (CARASS) of DU organised the event at its auditorium where nineteen researchers from different academic institutions and organisations of the country participated in the training programme.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman distributed certificates among the participants.
The VC stressed the need for conducting comprehensive research for the betterment of general people,” he added.
DU Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin and CARASS Director Prof. Dr. Abdul Bashir also addressed the programme.
