A four-day long training workshop on ‘Re-engineering & Upgradation of Technology for Product Diversification and Enhancement of Export Potency in light Engineering Sectorll was concluded on Wednesday at the Institute of Appropriate Technology (IAT), Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), The workshop was organized by the Institute of Appropriate Technology (IAT), BUET. Owners, managers, entrepreneurs, technologists and engineers of various,engineering industries and enterprises from all over the country joined the programme.
Teachers of IAT and other departments of BUET and some other university and experts from private and public organizations of the country took part in the training workshop as the resource persons .
The closing session of the training workshop was chaired by Prof. Dr. M. Kamal Uddin, Director, Institute of Appropriate Technology (IAT), BUET. Prof Khaleda Ekram, Vice-Chancellor, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
