Training workshop for journalists ends

 A two-day training workshop for local journalists for enhancing and developing their skill on the reporting of children and women issues concluded in Narsingdi at Press Club hall room on Thursday.
Organised by Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) with the co-operation of Narsingdi Press Club, Superintendent of Police Narsingdi Sheikh Rafiqul Islam inaugurated the training workshop on Wednesday with president of the Narsingdi Press Club Habibur Rahman in the chair.
A total of 34 journalists working in different national dailies, news agencies, local papers and electronic medias took part in the course.
A number of trainers selected by PIB including Rafiza Rahman, senior trainer of PIB, Rouhal Amin Rushd, head of news Bangla Vision TV and Abdullah Shahariar advisor LIFD conducted the training workshop as resource persons.
Mohammad Shah Alamgir Director General (DG) of PIB attended the concluding session and gave briefing on the morality and ethics of journalism and also the objective journalism .
Deputy Commissioner of Narsingdi Abu Hena Morshed Zaman addressed the concluding function as chief guest while DG of PIB Shah Alamgir presided over the training workshops
President of Dhaka Reporters unity Shahed Chowdhury also addressed in the concluding function as special guest,
The Deputy Commissioner distributed the certificates among the trainees. He said the training workshop would help the journalists to the equipped with necessary tips and techniques of reporting.
The Director General of PIB emphasized on the need of a procedure for the journalists.
