Nari Unnayan Shakti (NUS) organised a two- day long training programme on “Mainstreaming Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV Programme among the NUS’s staff and adolescents” at Chandgaon venue in Chittagong City on Saturday , says a press release.
Bangladesh Family Planning Association (FPAB) and European Commission jointly supported the training programme aiming to start sexual and reproductive health programme in Bangladesh.
Dr. Sultan Muhammad Razzak, President of International Culture University, Dhaka inaugurated the training programme while Muhammad Abdullah, Divisional Commissioner, Chittagong addressed the closing ceremony of the event.
Nari Unnayan Shakti organised the Sexual and Reproductive Health training programme among 33 trainee staff based on Jessore, Chittagong and Dhaka region office. Since its inception from 1992 NUS has been implementing HIV/AIDS program in 13 districts of the country and providing Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services among the stakeholders of the community. Presently, the program is ongoing at Sylhet, Chittagong and Dhaka.
