A three-day training workshop on public relations and development communication started at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) on Thursday. Vice-Chancellor of the University Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BTFO was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony. The public relations, information and publication division of the university organize the training program. The chairman of Journalism and Information Research Unique Foundation Dr Aliur Rahman is as the main performer in the three-day training workshop. Assistant Professor of Mass Communication and Journalism, Tabiur Rahman Prodhan is coordinating the workshop.
In the inaugural ceremony, vice-chancellor Prof Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BTFO said ‘Public relations is very important for any organization. Public relations play an important role in raising the image of the organization. Such a training workshop has been organized considering these aspects.’
The main trainer of the training workshop Dr Aliur Rahman said, communication is the biggest strength. Public relations office of any organization performs this communication. His expected that such training would enrich the Public Relations Division of Begum Rokeya University.
