A week-long training programme on “Hands on Training of Histopathology Technologist” ended at Pathology department on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) in the city on Thursday.
BSMMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Kamrul Hasan Khan addressed the concluding ceremony of the programme as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants, said a BSMMU press release.
Presided over by the Chairman of Pathology department Professor Ashim Ranjan Barua, Professor Mohammad Kamal, Professor Dr Ashrafunnesa and Research Assistant of International Agency for Research on Cancer, (IARC) of France Kristin Carreira addressed the function, among others, it said.
A total of 14 technologists took part at the training programme.
