Training makes Rangpur farmers grow more oil crops

Bangladesh Atomic Agriculture Research Institute (BINA) Director General Mirza Mofazzal Islam said that it is possible to convert two crop lands into three crop lands by increasing the production of oil crops.
He said that it is possible to increase the grain density by planting rabi (mustard, potato) in the middle of Aman and Boro seasons. He further said that Binasrisa-4 and Binasrisa-9 invented without any duty are short-lived with a lifespan of only 60-65 days. He said this while introducing the virtual oil national crop at the Tajhat Bina Kendra, which was held without any organization on Saturday afternoon, at the training of farmers on farming techniques.
Bina Rangpur sub-center officer-in -charge Mohammad Ali was the special guest in the presidency of Bina director (research). Abdul Malek, District Training Officer Ashok Kumar Roy.
Scientific officers Md. Mahmudul Hasan and Motabber Rahman provided training among others. Farm Manager Tanzila Nasrin Trina, farmer Md. Abdur Baki and Md. Moshiar Rahman Mithu spoke among the trainees.
More than a hundred farmers attended this training workshop and received training on the introduction of oil crops and cultivation techniques.
