Speakers here urged to all the government and non-government agencies, local government institutions and members of the civil society to work together for the unemployed youths so that they can avail the training scope.
They said the government is providing skills training towards creating employment for five lakh individuals by 2020 with a view to helping poverty elimination and ensuring sustainable development in the country.
They were addressing a district level orientation workshop titled “Skill for Employment Investment Program (SEIP)” at conference hall of Deputy Commissioner here yesterday.
Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance organized the workshop. SEIP and PIACT Bangladesh jointly supported the workshop participated by officials, teachers, public representatives, journalists and other stakeholders.
