There is no alternative to adequate professional training that always works as the driving force for anyone to achieve success in personal life as well as accelerate national development.
The opinion came yesterday at the joint launching ceremony of 3-week basic training, including arms, for 80 Ansar-VDP members and 5-week technical training for 24 members on ‘Repairing and maintenance of mobile phone sets’ at Regional Vocational Training Centre in Rangpur.
The courses are being arranged for Ansar-VDP members of the 18-35 year age group under its Training Programme to turn them into efficient professionals and skilled workforces in becoming self-reliant through income generation activities.
District Commandant of Ansar-VDP Md Abdus Samad attended the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest with Circle Adjutant Md Tauhid Uzzaman in the chair.
The district and upazila level officials of Ansar-VDP, trainee members of the volunteer organisations, internal and external technical trainers and resource persons were present.
Tauhid Uzzaman said the Ansar-VDP members are contributing to build congenial atmosphere for rural uplift through rendering sincere services, creating public awareness side by side with curbing social crimes and curses.
The chief guest said Ansar-VDP members have become the driving force to
accelerate rural development and eradicate poverty in building a middle
income digital Bangladesh by 2021, and subsequently a developed country by
2041,” he added.
He suggested the participants to acquire professional knowledge, expertise
and skill from the courses in achieving self-reliance to lead better life and
serve the nation with utmost sincerity in building a developed nation.
