Two-day training course on “Research of Bangladesh Liberation War” began at Sirajul Islam Lecture Hall of Dhaka University (DU) on Friday.
DU Emeritus Professor Dr Anisuzzaman inaugurated the programme as the chief guest with Dean of the Arts Faculty Prof Dr Akhtaruzzaman in the chair. Centre for Bangladesh Liberation War Research of DU organized the course.
Speaking on the occasion, Anisuzzaman thanked the organiser and expressed hope that the programme will be successful by gathering experience about the researches.
The trainers of the course are Professor Dr Syed Anwar Hossain, Rafiqul Islam Bir Uttam, Professor Dr Sharif Uddin Ahmed, Prof Dr Muntassir Mamoon, Prof Dr Sonia Nishat Amin, Prof Dr Mesbah Kamal, Prof Dr Abu M Delwar Hossain, Dr Aksadul Alam, Mufidul Haque and Afsan Chowdhury.
