The Karmasangsthan Bank will provide loan facilities to trained youths of the country to make them self-reliant.
A total of Taka 273 crore were distributed among trained youths from the Karmasangsthan Bank during the 2017-18 fiscal year, this was revealed at a meeting of Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Youth and Sports Ministry at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban here.
Chairmen of the committee Md Jahid Ahsan Rasel presided over the meeting, an official release said. Other members of the committee — State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikdar, Md Mahbub Ali, AM Naimur Rahman, Rahim Razzak, Md Kabirul Haque and Md Nurul Islam Talukdar — attended the meeting.
The committee congratulated State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr. Biren Sikder for becoming the ‘best youth minister’ in South Asia.
