Detective Branch (DB) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) in a drive arrested a train ticket black-marketer with 22 tickets from city’s Reazuddin Bazar area on Friday night.The arrested Delowar Hossain, 32, hails from Akhalia area under Madhabdi Thana of Narsingdi district.
A team of DB, CMP, conducted a drive at Chaitonya Lane area of Reazuddin Bazar at around 11 pm and arrested Delowar with 22 train tickets, said Illias Khan, Sub- Inspector (SI) of the DB, CMP.
“Delowar in connivance with some railway employees used to collect railway tickets and sell them at higher prices”, the DB officer said adding that a case was filed in this connection.
