Traffic Week organised by police and district administration began here on Sunday.
Superintendent of Police Alamgir Kabir inaugurated the programme.
Among others, Deputy Commissioner AKM Mamunur Rashid, Rangamati Municipality Mayor Akbar Hossen, senior journalist Sunil Kanti Dey, District Auto-rickshaw Owners’ Association President Parash Majumder and Bus Owners’ Association President Mohiuddin Selim also spoke. At that time, students and head teachers of different educational institutions and police officials were present.
Later, district administration and traffic police conducted mobile court at different important places of the district town.
