The Open National Traditional Wushu Championship begins today at the Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur.
Bangladesh Traditional Wushu Federation will arrange the two-day long wushu competition with the assistance of Bangladesh Martial Art Confederation.
A total of 300 participants will compete in 40 events (Sanda and Thawloo discipline).
After the concluding of the competition, Deputy-Director General of Bangladesh Ansar Mizanur Rahman will distribute the prizes among the winners as the chief guest while Vice-President of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) Md Mizanur Rahman Manu will be with him as the special guest. Deputy-Secretary General of BOA Ashiqur Rahman Miku and former president of Bangladesh Wushu Association Shamim Khan Tito will present at the time.
