The Sherpur Fish Festival gives an opportunity to showcase one of its hidden gems. Now its the century old Fish Festival was held at Bramongram under Sherpur area of Sadar Upazila of the Moulvibazar district on run on couple day’s end on Saturday.
There’s always a special atmosphere. Fish Festival an unique mix of vibrant holiday scene and the traditional fishing community of the old tradition. Together they bring the life for this three day annual event and provide with a showcase to be proud of.
Sherpur Mossojibi Somity source said, total 45 fish whole sellers participated in this fair from the country. Every whole seller sale minimum Tk 20/25 lac fish sale in this fair.

The practical cookery demonstrations by local chefs are undoubtedly the highlight of the festival, with hotels and restaurants in Bramongram area being able to promote local fresh fish and shellfish and locally available, source added.
