In Shahzadpur of Sirajganj on September 10. In memory of Dr. Mazharul Islam, the final competition of village Bengal’s traditional boat race was held in the Baral Rever.
Sirajganj-6 Shahzadpur Prof Marina Jahan Kavita MP was present as the chief guest in the traditional boating competition. Former MP and president of Upazila Awami League Chayan Islam, presidium member of Bangladesh Awami Jubo League, Dr. Sajjad Haider Liton, Joint General Secretary of Awami League Mustak Ahmed were present as special guests.
Shahjahan Siraj, president of the organizing committee of Mazharul Islam Memorial Boat Race and others were present.
In the final competition, the winners of the three categories of Kosha and Pansi given motorcycles, refrigerators and televisions as prizes. At the same time all participating boats were also awarded.
