The officilas of Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) have fined two businessouse Tk 20,000 in Pakundia town for selling expired fertilizer, seeds and pesticides on Monday. The dishonest shops are – Ramzan Ali Traders and Taniya Traders.
At this time expired fertilizers, expired and tampering pesticides and expired and unauthorized crop seeds were found at M/s Ramzan Ali Traders and M/s Tanay Traders. DNCRP Assistant Director (AD) Hriday Ranjan Bonik confirmed the matter and said that according to Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009, M/s Ramzan Ali Traders and Taniya Traders fined Tk 20,000 for the crime of selling expired fertilizers, expired and tampered pesticides and expired crop seeds and unlicensed vegetable seeds.
