A businessman was killed by his rival groups at Dewanganj Barzar in Nandial Upazila of Mymensingh over supremacy and money transaction on Sunday noon.
The victim was identified as Md. Saidul Islam (45) son of Md. Azaruddin Miah at Moheshkura village of Nandail upazila.
Nandail Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mausur Ahamed said that receiving on information police rushed to the spot and dead body recovered.
Police patrolling the area and situation brought under control.
Police also arrested 7 men named Bulbul, Sumon, Redoy, Rasel, Jonayed, Tohid and Pervez in this connection.
A case was filed in this connection with Nandail Model Police Station.
