A month long Trade & Commerce Fair-2019 beang at Sheikh Rasel Shishu Park ground in Gopalganj town on Tuesday.
Gopalganj Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Gopalganj organized the Fair and its continuing coming month January 11, 2020.
Shahida Sultana, Deputy Commissioner (DC), Gopalganj inaugurated the month long Fair as Chief Guest. Mohammad Saidur Rahman Khan, Superintendent of Police (SP), Gopalganj, Chowdhury Emdadul Haque, President, District Awami League (AL) Gopalganj, Mahbub Ali Khan, General Secretary, District Awami League, Gopalganj, Sheikh Lutfar Rahman Bacchu, Chairman, Gopalganj Sadar Upazila, & Kazi Liakat Ali Leku, Mayor, Goapglanj Pourashava were spoken as special guests in inaugural session.
As many as 120 various kinds of stalls like food court, ornaments shops, garments items, cosmetics, kitchen ware, furniture, electronics shops, puppet show, circus with etc. set up in the fair. Administration arranged tight security for peacefully held of the fair. On the occasion every day hundred of cultural loving people of remote areas in the district have been attending here for watching & enjoying themselves.
While talking to Mohshin Bepari , owner of a toys shop in the fair, have come from Bagerhat, he told The New Nation, I have been coming here for attending this fair from five years back for selling my making toys and I have been benefited, every year from this fair he added.
