A tractor driver named Selim (22) was killed in a road accident at Patitla in Naogaon. The accident happened on Wednesday morning. The deceased was identified as Selim, a resident of Atapara village under Goala union of Sapahar upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Patitla Police Station Parimal Chakraborty said that Selim was going to Sapahar on a tractor carrying sand from Patitla on Wednesday morning. At that time, the tractor lost control and collided with a tree at Manshi intersection in Madhail area of the upazila. The driver Selim died on the spot after being crushed under the tractor. The body was later recovered from the spot and sent to Naogaon Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy. Preparations are underway to file a case in this regard.
