BSS, Chitagong :The Divisional Hill Management Committee (DHMC) yesterday issued warnings about possible landslides at Moti Jhorna and Lalkhan Bazar hill areas in Chittagong due to heavy rainfall since Saturday midnight.Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Mejbah Uddin asked the residents of unauthorized dwellings on the hillocks and risky places in the city to relocate their habitation to safer places. “Living in these hills is very risky and torrential rains may even claim lives,” he added.The district administration since Sunday morning through...
