Senior leader of 19-party alliance and Chairman of Bangladesh Kalyan Party Maj. Gen (Retd) Syed Mohammad Ibrahim, Bir Patik said , present ruling party has come to power illegally with lame excuse of constitutional continuation.
He said the present law and order situation in the country has deteriorated severely for the autocratic rule in the country.
Kalyan Party chairman was addressing the view exchange meeting with the leaders of city, north and south chapter units of Chittagong at its city office premises yesterday morning.
He called upon the party leaders and workers and well-wishers to dedicate their responsibilities for changing the mode of Dhaka- based administration and politics. KP is doing politics for the change of the politics.
He said, Chittagong is deprived of legitimate share of economy and KP demands decentralization of power from Dhaka.
He also emphasised the importance of Chittagong for economic development of the country. General Secretary of KP Md. Elias presided over the view exchanging meeting.
