Staff Reporter :A week-long solo watercolour exhibition titled Floral Motif by artist Toufiqur Rahman is being held at Drik Gallery in the city’s Dhanmondi area now. The exhibition was inaugurated by Vice President of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) Mahmud Hasan Khan (Babu) as the chief guest on January 8. Eminent artist and Professor of the Drawing and Painting Department, Faculty of Fine Arts of University of Dhaka Jamal Ahmed and grandson of late Nawab Altaf Ali Chowdhury of Bogra Syed Hamde Ali were also present as the special guests on the occasion.Artist Toufiqur Rahman was born in Dhaka in 1974. He completed BFA from Government Art College, Chittagong in 1997 and MFA from Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts of Chittagong University in 2011. Now Toufiqur Rahman is working as a faculty of drawing at Mirpur campus of Scholastica School.
