A total lunar eclipse will occur on September 28 (Monday). The moon will enter penumbra at 06 hours 10 minutes 18 seconds Bangladesh time and will leave penumbra at 11 hours 23 minutes 54 seconds BST, said an ISPR release on Tuesday.
The moon will enter umbra at 07 hours 06 minutes 48 seconds BST and will leave umbra at 10 hours 27 minutes 24 seconds BST. The central eclipse will start at 08 hours 10 minutes 42 seconds BST and will end at 09 hours 23 minutes 30 seconds BST. Middle of the eclipse will occur at 08 hours 47 minutes 06 seconds BST. The maximum magnitude of the eclipse will be 1.282.
The moon will set in Bangladesh from 05 hours 30 minutes to 06 hours BST on 28 September. So, this eclipse will not be visible in this country on 28 September.
The moon will enter penumbra for the first time at 23 hours 42 minutes 54 seconds LMT on September 27 in the South Atlantic Ocean at the South of Tabou Town of Cote D’ Ivoire.
It will leave penumbra for the last time at 23 hours 58 minutes 38 seconds LMT on September 27 in the South Pacific Ocean at the west of Tumaco Port of Ecuador.
The moon will enter umbra for the first time at 23 hours 47 minutes 29 seconds LMT on September 27 in the South Atlantic Ocean at the south of Accra of Ghana.
